Three people hospitalised after ambulance rollover in Victoria

Three people have been hospitalised after an ambulance rollover at an intersection in Melbourne's north.
The ambulance was travelling northbound on Albert Street in Preston when it collided with another vehicle travelling east on Station Street this morning.
Two male paramedics escaped uninjured while the driver of the other vehicle was taken to hospital for observation.

Ambulance Victoria said no patients were inside the emergency vehicle at the time.
"Two paramedics were taken to St Vincents Hospital and the driver of the other vehicle taken to the Austin Hospital," it said.
"All were transported in a stable condition.
"We are grateful for the response of other emergency crews, including paramedics who cared for their colleagues and the other person involved."
Police are investigating the circumstances surrounding the crash.
