Millions of Australians will celebrate a welcome public holiday this weekend.
Commonly referred to as the "October long weekend", the ACT, New South Wales, South Australia, Queensland and some parts of Tasmania will all have a public holiday on Monday, October 2.
When every public holiday rolls around, it's always a bit confusing what stores will be open.
To clear things up, we've checked the trading hours for some of the big retailers so you're not caught short.
Western Australia's King's Birthday holiday is on September 25 this year, while the Northern Territory also misses out.
Victoria, meanwhile, still has a long weekend with the AFL grand final day public holiday on September 29 instead.
Woolworths
NSW and the ACT: All stores will be open
Queensland: All stores will be open.
NT: All Woolworths stores will be open.
Victoria and Tasmania: All stores will be open.
South Australia: Most stores will be open. Individual opening hours will change from store-to-store, so customers are advised to check the Woolworths website for more specific information.
Coles
Coles supermarkets in the ACT and NSW will be open on Labour Day.
Coles shops in Queensland will stay open on the King's Birthday long weekend on October 2.
In South Australia, most Coles stores will be shut on Labour Day except the following locations: Port Lincoln, Port Pirie, Berri, Port Augusta, Mount Barker, Adelaide Rundle Place, Whyalla, Murray Bridge Green, Mount Gambier and Victor Harbor.
In Victoria, Coles supermarkets will stay open on the grand final public holiday on September 29.
Liquorland and Vintage Cellars
All locations in NSW, Queensland, and the ACT for the Coles-owned Liquorland, Vintage Cellars and First Choice Liquor Market will be open on October 2.
In South Australia, the Liquorland locations to be open on Labour Day will be: Port Lincoln, Berri, Port Augusta, Mount Barker, Adelaide Rundle Place, Whyalla Westlands, Murray Bridge, Mount Gambier and Victor Harbor.
Big W
Big W stores nationwide will be open with their usual trading hours on October 2.
In South Australia alone, most stores will be closed, with the stores in Victor Harbor, Port Augusta, Renmark, Murray Bridge and Mount Gambier staying open.

Kmart
Queensland, NSW and ACT: Stores will be open but operating under shortened trading hours.
South Australia: Stores will mostly be closed, with some staying open under shortened hours.
Victoria, Tasmania and Western Australia: Stores will be open as normal.
Target
Queensland, NSW, WA and ACT: Stores will be open but operating under shortened trading hours.
South Australia: Stores will be closed, with only Target Centrepoint opening under shortened hours.
Victoria and Tasmania: Stores will be open as normal.
Bunnings
Bunning stores in every state and territory will be open on October 2, but there will be shortened public trading hours.
Westfield
Queensland: All stores will open from 10am and close between 4pm and 5pm.
NSW and the ACT: Trading hours will vary but most hours are reduced to close before 6pm. Westfield Sydney and Sydney Central Plaza will trade until 7pm.
SA: All Westfield shopping centres are closed.
Best and Less
Queensland and WA: All stores will operate during normal trading hours.
NSW: All stores are open except Grafton, Gunnedah, Inverell, Lismore and Toronto.
SA: All stores are open except Mt Gambier.
Victoria, ACT, NT and Tasmania: All stores open.
