Machete-wielding teenagers at large in Brisbane after alleged attempted carjacking caught on CCTV

CCTV footage of masked youths armed with machetes lurking around cars at homes on Brisbane's north side has left residents terrified.
The vision provided to 9News shows what looks to be two teenagers, going door-to-door armed with machetes, amid an escalation of the state's youth crime epidemic.
The pair were captured on CCTV walking streets in Hendra just before 3am yesterday.

Alison Little and her now terrified young daughter were asleep when their Lilley Street property was targeted by the pair.
One of the youths was filmed trying to steal her car.
"But he couldn't get out because the gate was closed," Little explained.
It was the first time Alison's fallen victim to the youth crime crisis, but she says her parents who live only streets away have been targeted four times, and they've all had enough.
"It's scary," she said.
"It just takes the crime to a whole new level to know that your physical safety is at risk."

"We're all a bit over it I think. The community's tired of this happening time and time again," Little said.
Police investigating the incident.
