A man has been arrested in a struggle with police after a neighbour's apartment burnt down in Adelaide.
A second-story unit on Tenth Street in Bowden caught fire at 3.30am, gutting the apartment and waking neighbours.
"We heard the fire alarm go off and I went outside and turned the light on and the door had smoke coming out from the top," a resident told 9News.
The cause of the blaze is yet to be determined, but investigators are treating it as suspicious.
A neighbour "became disorderly" while emergency workers attended the scene, leading to his arrest.
Officers arrested him on the basis of disorderly behaviour, assault police and resist arrest.
No one was home during the fire and no one was injured.
