2023 marks the first year for the royals after the death of Queen Elizabeth II.

From Harry's tell-all memoir to King Charles III beginning his reign, here's a collection of photos from the lives of the UK royals.

The King spoke of his late mother's close ties with the country and the "firm friendship" between the nations during his speech.

"Your generosity of spirit brings to mind how my family and I were so greatly moved by the tributes paid in France to my mother, the late Queen, whose funeral took place one year ago yesterday," he said.
