King Charles III has only been monarch for seven months, but it appears he is now richer than his late mother.
The British Sunday Times estimates King Charles is worth $1.1 billion or £600 million.
The King amassed his wealth through property and the Duchy of Cornwall.
The report comes as preparations ramp up for the King's May 6 coronation.
The new British sovereign will be crowned alongside his wife, Camilla, in a deeply religious service at Westminster Abbey that will take place on the morning of May 6.
