Her family revealed she stood today for the first time since the shark attack.
"It was a little bit painful," her son Hayden Cook said.
"With both legs affected, you can't weight-bear on one side."
Her husband Greg Cook said the family is thankful none of her arteries or tendons are affected.
"She's getting through it quite well," he said.
"She's happy, she's vibrant, it's just a matter of getting the lower part working."

The Beachport community is also recovering from the shock of the shark attack.
The swimming group the 64-year-old is a part of gathered for a regular dinner tonight, which was a chance to reflect on the ordeal their friend went through.
Several of the swimmers got back in the water this morning but others are not ready yet.
