Sara Sharif had 'cuts and bruises' at school in months before death, neighbour claims

A 10-year-old girl found dead in the UK after her father travelled to Pakistan reportedly had visible injuries at school in the months before she died.
Sara Sharif's body was discovered in a home in Surrey on August 10.
Her father, Urfan Sharif, had flown to Pakistan the day before, with his partner Beinash Batool, his brother Faisal Malik, and five children.

He placed an emergency call from Pakistan to police in London, who subsequently discovered Sara's body.
An autopsy didn't establish a cause of death but the results did show Sara had suffered “multiple and extensive injuries, which are likely to have been caused over a sustained and extended period of time".
An uncle, Imran Sharif, reportedly told police in Pakistan the family said Sara fell at home.
Sky reported he allegedly told officers: "Beinash was home with the children. Sara fell down the stairs and broke her neck. Beinash panicked and phoned Urfan."
A former neighbour, whose own daughter went to school with Sara, has now told the BBC that the 10-year-old girl had shown visible injuries shortly before she was removed from the school.

"Just before the Easter holidays she was in school and had cuts and bruises on her face and her neck," the neighbour, who asked to be identified as Jessica, said.
"My daughter had asked what had happened and she said she'd fallen off a bike and then kind of walked away.
"The next day the teacher announced (Sara) had left school and she was being home-schooled."
Pakistani authorities continue to hunt for Urfan Sharif, Batool, and Malik.
UK police are also working with international agencies to further their own investigation.
