As the cost of living crisis continues to grip the nation, making life uncomfortable for millions and showing no signs of slowing, Aussies are on the hunt for answers.
In fact, people all over the country are searching for cost-of-living relief at unprecedented rates, with some regions googling for help far more than others.
Here's where those regions are.
The top 10 regions searching for cost of living queries in Australia is a fairly mixed bag of both big cities and smaller towns, proving that affordability struggles do not discriminate by postcode.
Kicking off the list is Brisbane, which has the 10th highest rate of residents searching the query in the country.
Perth, where the city of just under two million people is struggling through the lowest levels of rental vacancies in the country, has landed at ninth on the list.
Queanbeyan, a tiny city some 15 kilometres west of Canberra, has landed at number eight.
Just under 40,000 people call Queanbeyan home, though those who live there are clearly affected by the crisis - with Google searches relating to the cost of living at a higher volume here than some capital cities.
The ACT is among the top states and territories in the country searching for cost of living on Google.
Unsurprisingly, that's seen Canberra land at number seven.
The border town of Albury has been put through the wringer during the pandemic years, and it seems locals there are still copping it, with the city narrowly missing out on making the top five.
Though just 57,000 people call Wagga Wagga home, the region is a hotspot for cost of living Google searches.
It's landed at number five on the list.
Another entrant from Queensland, Hervey Bay in the state's south has come in at number four on the list.
Premier Annastacia Palaszczuk has flagged relief is on the way for the state's renters in particular, with the upcoming budget also set to address general affordability.
Located at one of the most south-western points in the country, Bunbury, a port city 175km away from Perth, has cracked the top three and is the second entrant from WA on this list.
Bundaberg residents are Googling cost of living searches at the second-highest rate in the country and it's the third entrant from Queensland on the list.
Taking out the top spot, and yet another Queensland entrant, is Burrum Heads, a tiny coastal town along the Fraser Coast with a population of just 2000 people.
