Hundreds of Queensland jobs set to go as Glencore poised to announce closure of copper mine in Mt Isa

It's feared hundreds of Queensland jobs will be lost with Glencore expected to announce the closure of its Mt Isa mine on Wednesday.
Sources have told 9News the Mt Isa copper mining operation has reached "end of life", though the copper smelter and refinery operations are not expected to be affected.
The company, Australia's second largest copper producer, employs about 1200 workers.
