'Something is wrong with that picture': 'Cursed' charity shop painting returned twice

A 'cursed' painting on sale in a charity shop has been returned twice by buyers, with one woman saying there is 'something wrong with it."
The painting of a young girl with short hair wearing a red dress, was on sale at Hastings Advice and Representation Centre in St Leonards on Sea, south of London in the UK, according to The Telegraph.
Multiple people have posted images of the picture on X, formerly Twitter, over the past two months.
In one shot the picture had a note attached to the cream frame sayin: "She's back!!!. Sold twice and returned twice! Are you brave enough?"
It was priced at £20 ($49).
Other shots showed the artwork with a note saying "possibly cursed" stuck to the frame.
The posts attracted hundreds of comments, with some dismissing it as a "marketing ploy" and others comparing the picture to the horror film The Hours.
However, one woman, Juliet Brando, said her friend had actually bought the painting.
She said her friend was told a previous buyer had returned it, and shared a photo of it in a bag in the back of a car.
"According to the guy in the shop she took it back because threw her life into chaos," Brando said.
She also posted a picture of the painting from the side, saying: "Her eyes follow all the way around."
It then emerged in another series of tweets a few weeks later, Brando's friend also had problems with the artwork and took it back to the shop.
"We've just been talking on messenger and it's f---ing wild! No wonder she took the picture back!" Brando said.
