
Three men have been charged today over allegedly wounding a teenager with a machete in east Brisbane.
Police allege that at 2pm yesterday the men broke into a home at Raeburn Street in Manly West, before they stabbed a 19-year-old man and attempted to rob him.
Police responded and when they arrived at the scene arrested two of the men without incident.
The third man allegedly fled the property and after a short foot chase, was taken into custody nearby.
The victim sustained a wound to his arm and was taken to Princess Alexandra Hospital.
He has non-life-threatening injuries
A 19-year-old Tingalpa man, a 22-year-old Birkdale man and a 19-year-old Upper Mount Gravatt man were conjointly changed with one count each of wilful damage, enter dwelling with intent, attempted robbery whilst armed and in company, and wounding.
They are scheduled to appear in court today.
Investigations are ongoing.
