A man has been arrested after allegedly ploughing into two parked cars while drunk in Adelaide's northern suburbs.
The 41-year-old driver allegedly crashed his Ford Falcon sedan into two parked cars in Smithfield at 11pm on Thursday.
He then allegedly blew 0.244 on a breath test.
Nikki Howe said she was jolted awake by the incident in front of her home on Main North Road.
"I heard this great big bang and I went 'oh no'," she claimed.
"I saw this car facing at me in my yard and then my daughter's car was hit by another car behind."
She claimed the Ford Falcon hit a parked car, which was then pushed into the back of Howe's daughter's Mitsubishi.
"The whole back end is pretty messed up... I'm a support worker so I need it, it's my life," daughter Shannyn Howe said.
The Mitsubishi, which was bought just four weeks ago, has been declared a write-off.
The driver and his passenger were not injured in the crash.
The driver was reported for drink driving and driving without due care. He has lost his license for 12 months and will face court at a later date.
