A woman has allegedly been trafficked from Colombia to Canberra where she was forced to work strenuous hours against her will.
ACT Police allege the woman had been trafficked from Colombia in early 2023 and was working at a home in O'Malley and a business.
The woman alleged she "was forced to work from before 7am through to late each evening, cleaning, cooking and caring for children in the home".

"She worked seven days a week and was not permitted to leave the home without being escorted," ACT Police said in a statement.
"She was provided minimal food and was paid cash for her work at well below minimum wage provisions."
Police also allege she was not allowed to return home to Colombia.
The search warrant was conducted at 8.40am yesterday and the investigation is ongoing.
The maximum penalty for trafficking in Australia is 12 years imprisonment.
