In 2015 he was part of the team at The Australian that won the inaugural Kennedy Award for Outstanding Online News Breaking for digital coverage of the Philip Hughes tragedy.
In 2017, in his position as mobile editor of The Australian, he was part of the team that won the Mobile Site of the Year at the Australian Newspaper Awards.
Marc also led the 9news.com.au team to the Kennedy Award for Outstanding Online News Breaking in 2020 and 2021 for coverage of the bushfire and flood crisis respectively.
