Monika is born and bred in Western Australia and knows Perth intimately.
Her entry into broadcast news was at 6PR - where she held various roles including Drive presenter.
In 1990 Monika began an almost 30 year career with the Seven Network, 22 of those as host of current affairs program Today Tonight.
A move across to Network 10 saw Monika present Perth's weekday news bulletin. She is one of WA's most familiar faces.
Monika joined Nine from Monday, December 7, 2020, as the host of 9News Perth's new 5pm bulletin.
